Is David Hogg a Traitor or Patriot?

Is David Hogg a Traitor or Patriot?

First, I ask you do not jump to conclusions without the honest look at the facts. We shall start with the definition of the words

a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc.

“they see me as a traitor, a sellout to the enemy”
a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.
Now that we have laid the foundation on which to make a judgment let’s look at the fruit David Hogg bears.
Here David Hogg a fellow Citizen disrespecting other citizens beliefs and being Vulgar to the group. From the Washington Free Beacon: Pro-Gun Control Parkland Survivor on NRA: ‘They’re Pathetic F**kers That Want to Keep Killing Our Children’
“They’re pathetic fuckers that want to keep killing our children,” said Hogg, referring to the NRA. “They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action, because they all still see those dollar signs.”
Sorry about the foul Language, just shows a person’s character!!!
“It’s like when your old-ass parents [say], ‘I don’t know how to send an iMessage,’ and you’re just like, ‘Give me the fucking phone’ and you take it and you’re like, ‘OK, let me handle it,’ and you get it done in one second,” Hogg said. “Sadly, that’s what we have to do with our government because our parents don’t know how to use a fucking democracy, so we have to.”
Here, he like every typical teenager, he thinks he knows more than older citizens that have more experience and knowledge. Why would he be taken seriously? Is there more to this than meets the eye? Time will provide those answers.
The Constitution of the United States is very clear in the 2nd amendment “the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed upon”
Many will try to convince you or deceive you in what this means. So before we listen to the “infringers” like David Hogg and his comrades let’s look at what those who wrote the Constitution said on the issue!!
“A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined…”
– George Washington, First Annual Address, to both House of Congress, January 8, 1790
America may need work on the discipline part!!!
“And that the said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press, or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms; or to raise standing armies, unless necessary for the defense of the United States, or of some one or more of them; or to prevent the people from petitioning, in a peaceable and orderly manner, the federal legislature, for a redress of grievances; or to subject the people to unreasonable searches and seizures of their persons, papers or possessions.”
-George Washington, Debates of the Massachusetts Convention of February 6, 1788
“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Constitution, Draft 1, 1776
“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”– Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
– Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

“To disarm the people…[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them.”
– George Mason, referencing advice given to the British Parliament by Pennsylvania governor Sir William Keith, The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adooption of the Federal Constitution, June 14, 1788

I will stop now but there are many more. Here is a good link for more: Gun Quotes From Our Founding Fathers – 2nd Amendment Please, use them to drive liberals mad!!

So we have on one hand a foul-mouthed teenage boy Demanding to be heard. Here he DEMANDS that our Vice President listen to him and his “Superior Knowledge” From the Washington Times: David Hogg demands Mike Pence cancel NRA speech Really? Who does he think he is? Is he mentally ill?

Now let’s look to see how banning guns would solve the issue.

“While firearm homicides are a major cause for concern, suicide by firearm makes up almost two-thirds of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. In fact, the number of firearm homicides has been on a general decline since 1993, while firearm-related suicides have increased in recent years.

Broken down, about 36,100 people die from firearms each year in the U.S. Suicides make up over 21,300 of those deaths, while homicides make up nearly 11,000. Legal intervention and accidental discharge of firearms are each responsible for roughly 500 deaths annually.”

“Homicide makes up about one-third of all firearm-related deaths. Firearms were used in nearly 72 percent of murders nationwide in 2015. Additionally, Louisiana and Mississippi have disproportionately high firearm homicide rates. Notably, most of the bottom 10 states for firearm homicides, except New York and Connecticut, are in the bottom 10 for gun ownership.”

So there are approx 11,000 homicides from Guns a year in America. The reality is that gun homicides are overwhelmingly tied to gang violence. In fact, a staggering 80% of gun homicides are gang-related. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), gang homicides accounted for roughly 8,900 of 11,100 gun murders in both 2010 and 2011. That means that there were just 2,200 non gang-related firearm murders in both years in a country of over 300 million people and 250 million guns.

These are the facts, Yet I hear no call from David Hogg for gangs to be disarmed or no foul language hurled at them. This is astonishing!! What I must be mistaken because the almighty Mr. Hogg says the culprit is the NRA. How many gang members are NRA members? Hmm!!

I tried Googling and researching how many NRA members committed murder and there are not many sources of information out there. Tends to make me believe there can not be many. Here is what I found How many NRA members have been involved in mass shootings?

Here are some stats on Deaths by Drug overdose which is 5 times higher than shooting homicides. From CNN: Opioids Kill More People Than Breast Cancer

“More than 63,600 lives were lost to drug overdose in 2016, the most lethal year yet of the drug overdose epidemic, according to a new report from the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Most of those deaths involved opioids, a family of painkillers including illicit heroin and fentanyl as well as legally prescribed medications such as oxycodone and hydrocodone. In 2016 alone, 42,249 US drug fatalities — 66% of the total — involved opioids, the report says. That’s over a thousand more than the 41,070 Americans who die from breast cancer every year.”
So let’s ban Drugs David Hogg!! Oh, wait we already do. How many murders of those street gangs are caused because of Drugs? David Hogg, you are a foolish young boy!! Take a time out!!
It is time to stand up for your rights and liberties. David Hogg is the result of years of Common Core and the indoctrination in our schools by Marxist and unions. Don’t blame him speak out against those behind in the shadows poisoning our kid’s minds. Afterall, it is our duty as Americans. Time to use Free Speach to demand better or our education system, politicians and media because they all fuel this poisonous propaganda.
One last Quote “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.”
– Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Madison, January 30, 1787
